livesouthdowns blog is an attempt to bring people in the same community closer together as neighbors. The idea for the blog came after Hurricane Gustav ravaged Baton Rouge. Many of us got to know our neighbors during this rough time and began to rely on them for help the many weeks that followed.
This blog allows readers to have input on stories that interest them and is a resource for one of the most popular parts of Baton Rouge.

Anyone know how to find out the regulations for putting up a fence in Southdowns. Want to put picket fence in front and privacy in back. New to area so not sure who to ask…Thanks!
